Pool cover cleaning

Cleaning a pool cover is one of the most important – yet often overlooked – elements of maintaining a pool in perfect condition. A cover that protects the water from contamination and reduces evaporation on a daily basis is itself exposed to the buildup of dirt, biofilm, algae, and limescale deposits. Over time, contaminants accumulate not only on the surface of the slats, but especially in the connection points – the so-called joints – where access is much more difficult. These are precisely the areas where bacteria and microorganisms develop, which can negatively affect water quality.

To effectively solve this problem, we have developed our own device – designed and engineered from scratch by our company, BitPools. It is equipped with specially designed nozzles that reach directly into the slat joints, thoroughly removing accumulated dirt from areas inaccessible to standard cleaning methods. As a result, the cleaning process is not only faster but, above all, significantly more effective.

Regular pool cover cleaning not only improves aesthetics but, more importantly, extends the lifespan of the entire system. A neglected cover can lead to mechanical damage, drive malfunctions, and increased wear of components. Regular servicing eliminates the risk of costly repairs and ensures that the cover remains fully functional for many years. It is also worth noting that a clean cover helps stabilize the chemical parameters of the water, resulting in greater comfort of use and improved safety for swimmers.
